Description:
Opcity is currently seeking a Director of Sales Enablement, this person will plan and direct all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the Sales & Operations Division. Similar to a Chief of Staff role, this role is responsible for driving the Sales and Support strategies in order to achieve revenue objectives. Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the Head of Sales to facilitate efficient decision making. Act as a point of contact or gatekeeper between top management and other stakeholders. Provide oversight and guidance to projects of high importance. This person may even act as an advisor to the Head of Sales. May be responsible for the management of Sales & Operations support staff. The Director of Sales Enablement will manage a departmental function within a broader corporate function. This person will develop major goals to support broad functional objectives. The Director of Sales Enablement will also approve policies that would be developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate staff functions and activities including goal setting, compensation/incentive plan strategies
- Coordinate strategic business initiatives and guide to completion
- Supervise daily operations and help oversee projects of high importance
- Performance – continually analyze Sales and Service plans to optimize future results and effectively scale the organization.
- Act as a main consultant to the Head of Sales
- Manage department initiatives and ensure deadlines are being met
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure a steady inbound pipeline
- Collaborate with Sales Ops and Analytics teams to drive reporting to reps, managers, and executive leaders
- Manage and maintain headcount planning and coordinate with recruiting as needs arise
- Assist Head of Sales with internal communication, meeting with HR leaders and attending to staff needs, ensuring any problems are resolved
- Keep Head of Sales abreast on current company climate (employee well being, project statuses, new proposals etc.)
- Work with team leaders and present to senior executives
- Build strong relationships with employees and oversee their progress, noting any issues or successes
- Work with product teams to develop sales and support enablement tools and scalable training programs that can help train company sales team & partners.Help coordinate business wide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency and success
- Attend executive meetings and deliver progress reports to Head of Sales
What We Like to See/ Measures of Success:
- 10+ years experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Client Support leadership/management role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field, MBA preferred
- Proven creative thinker with strong business acuity with a proven track record of success in scaling Sales, Sales Support and Operations organizations in Business to Business environment
- An energetic leader with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a go-getter drive
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for productive collaboration across varying departments
