Director of Sales, Revenue

The Revenue team is the heart of our hyper-growth organization, focused on taking our sales organization to the next level. As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market share within our Solar segment focused on supplying workforce solutions. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has extensive experience in sales, a proven track record of building and scaling high performing teams, and experience working in a start-up environment.
What you’ll do:
- Lead all aspects of Sales Operations including exceeding targets and other team KPIs
- Build and execute on Solar sales strategy
- Build scalability through organizational design, process improvement, and tooling
- Develop high potential managers and ensure that they are developing the broader team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build product, process, and tools that allow for better sales execution
- Influence stakeholders on the short and long term Solar sales vision, and related needs
What you should have:
- Strong knowledge of the Solar marketplace business required
- 10+ years of sales experience in B2B or B2C. Energy/Oil + Gas/Renewables preferred.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing sales managers
- Experience scaling high-performance sales teams
- Experience with program management or process improvement
- Demonstrated success working and influencing cross-functionally, in addition to managing change across a distributed team
- Clear and effective communication skills, across mediums
- Prior start up experience demonstrating comfort with an ambiguous and constantly evolving environment
- Detailed knowledge of Salesforce
- Ability to travel domestically 20-30%
