What You'll Do
You will be responsible for leading Duo Security Software Renewals within an assigned strategic Cisco segment. Security Software Renewals is a key factor in Cisco's success as we continue drive toward annuity software subscription and re-occurring revenue offers. The renewal specialists are driving the Duo Renewals motion with the customer and managing a team of Cisco resources for all renewal activities from opportunity identification to negation to close. You will build direct relationships with global security software sales, Cisco account managers, Cisco channel partners, end customers, and other cross functional leaders. You will lead and support all aspects of the security renewals lifecycle and deliver against quota.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of Duo Security renewals while ensuring consistent and accurate forecasting across assigned territory.
  • Execute on all phases of subscription renewal lifecycle. This includes advising customers of renewals, building quotes, handling customer objections, assisting with contract negotiations, helping partners with order processing and closing renewal opportunities while ensuring entitlements are delivered appropriately.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to lead all aspects of the sales/renewals funnel from a weekly, monthly and quarterly perspective, ensuring integrity of the funnel and associated opportunities, as well as to ensure sales leads are handled and actioned on in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build customer and partner relationships and work effectively with cross functional partners.
  • Establish effective partnerships with diverse internal partners including Account Managers, Security Sales Specialist, Partner Community, Customer Success, and Operations.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have experience in renewals, a strong grasp of sales, and will demonstrate a high level of comfort working with partners, customers, internal teams and executive leadership. High energy, strong communication and the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving marketplace and evolving business models are essential skills for this opportunity.
Knowledge and Experience:

  • BS/BA (or equivalent) plus 3+ years related sales experience; preferably with Renewals.
  • Have a proven record in delivering excellent results against pre-defined goals and targets
  • Understanding of Cisco's Field Sales, Product Specialist Sales and Partner Sales organizations a plus.
  • Renewals experience within the United States with local, regional, national and global multi-national enterprise customers.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales processes, organizational structures, management practices and resources development.
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and the ability/affinity for building new relationships
