Enterprise Account Manager

As Purple's Enterprise Account Manager in Austin, Texas you will be an integral member of our Enterprise sales team focused on positioning Purple's data analytics SaaS (software as a service) with enterprise class customers across multiple verticals in North America. Purple's sales model allows for our Enterprise sales team to focus fully on generating new business development opportunities and securing ARR (annual recurring revenues), whilst working closely with our Partner Success team to bring the opportunity to a reality in the US market

We have a big focus on lead generation as a business, achieved through our channel partner network, sales development teams and creative and focused marketing initiatives. The result is warm and qualified leads to complement your high-level outbound activity.

Closing is hard work, so you absolutely need a supportive and fun team around you and you’ll definitely get that at Purple. Our location in downtown Austin certainly helps with the stresses of the day, whether you like to go out for great food, listen to a new band or just meander through the parks.

All of your hard work will be rewarded with a very simple to calculate and uncapped commission plan and healthcare package amongst other benefits.

 

The role

This role is 100% new business acquisition focused, allowing you to do what you do best; hunt and close.

Although you will have warm leads to convert, there will still be an expectation that you will be proactive in your work; attending technology conferences, using social media to grow your network and reach, utilize guerilla marketing to get attention in an innovative way and direct contact with prospective customers.

We have all the technology to enable you to see and speak with your clients from the office in Austin, but we all know that physical contact is still the best way to persuade and close deals. Therefore there will be travel involved across the USA.

Our onboarding program is thorough, ensuring that you are successfully ramped-up within your role and working alongside our supportive global Team Purple.

 

The ideal person

The key trait we look for at Purple is passion, we want people who love technology and sales.

Beyond that, these skills/experiences will certainly help your application;

  • Experience in technology sales, be that SaaS, cloud or IoT.
  • Hunter sales mentality, enjoy prospecting and closing sales leads.
  • Enterprise level sales experience, selling to large enterprises and fortune 500 companies.
  • Be dedicated to continuous learning.
