What we need

REX is looking for a sales-savvy, process-oriented and data-driven leader to join our Field Operations department. The Field Sales Manager will lead our rapidly growing, remote team of 10-15 Field Agents and will play a key role in creating and strengthening cross-departmental relationships with our Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing and Product departments. 

As a Field Sales Manager, you will focus on customer experience and conversions during open houses, showings, inspections and photoshoots. You'll inspire your team by creating a winning culture, helping to solve their challenges and ensuring they have the necessary support to succeed and grow their careers.

This role will report to the Senior Manager for Field Operations and will be based out of our Austin, TX headquarters. 

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for the performance management of the team; run and analyze reports on performance, communicate how team is tracking towards goals and uncover key insights that will drive the business forward
  • Conduct regular individual team check-ins to performance coach and ensure the team is following talk tracks, SOPs, REX core values and provide actionable feedback
  • Lead, motivate and develop field agents to provide a world class customer experience, while crushing monthly KPIs
  • Establish yourself as a cross-functional resource to identify, design and implement business processes that increase productivity and efficiency
  • Lead weekly group trainings, meetings, and huddles on process reinforcement/updates, sales tactics, and best practices
  • Communicate issues and opportunities to senior field operations manager
  • Be the voice of the Field Agent team in company-wide updates and in smaller scale stakeholder meetings
  • Onboard and oversee training and ramp up of new hires
  • Demonstrate the core values of REX on a day-to-day basis, setting the standard high for the team
  • Maintain legal and compliance standards amongst the team

What you need

  • 3+ years of proven management success leading distributed sales teams and individual contributors to maximize their potential and exceed targets and goals
  • Must possess a well-developed capacity to analyze and organize a sales team of outside sales representatives, including time management, account management, problem solving and customer interaction skills
  • Experience working in a sales environment
  • Experience in building, developing, and scaling teams 
  • Extensive experience using data to drive strategy and decision making
  • A passion for streamlining teams, operations and processes
  • Experience implementing successful sales strategies and processes leading to trackable efficiencies and increased productivity
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment in order to drive change across cross-functional teams
  • The ability to turn ideas into realities via actionable plans and execution with KPIs tied to them
  • Previous experience with data entry, workflows, and reporting in Salesforce or another similar CRM 
  • Experience in real estate and/ or with a fast-growing startup preferred
  • Proficient in productivity and web-based tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google docs/sheets
  • A high degree of professionalism with the ability to remain calm and rational in times of confusion, rapid change or pressure
