The Head of Advertising Sales is part of the revenue leadership team at Digital Turbine.  This role is responsible for leading a sales team to build new alliances with the largest global and local advertisers based in the Americas region.  As Head of Advertising Sales, you will work directly with advertisers and agencies to help them leverage Digital Turbine’s on-device advertising platform. You will lead by example and coach a team on closing business by leveraging your industry expertise, deep network of relationships and passion for empowering brands/agencies with Digital Turbine’s on-device and media products.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and develop a seasoned team of sales professionals in the US and LATAM.
  • Drive sales reporting cadence and weekly/monthly processes using all sales tools at your disposal to generate high monthly and quarterly growth.
  • Show consistent and accurate forecasting skills when regularly presenting US and LATAM new business opportunities to C-Level leadership. 
  • Work cross functionally to build advertiser interest for new OEM + Telco partners that launch on the Digital Turbine platform. 
  • Strategically sell and position Digital Turbine as a foundational marketing channel like social or search advertising. 
  • Use sales skills to influence marketing decisions at senior levels. 
  • Ensure your team has complete mastery of Digital Turbine’s pitch, products and the wider app advertising industry at large. 

Requirements:

  • Multi-disciplined sales leader with strong track record of closing deals and influencing large accounts through to close.
  • Expert knowledge of the mobile ecosystem including mobile applications, mobile gaming, advertising and measurement. 
  • Motivational leader who can demonstrate influencing skills at all levels of large matrixed organizations. 
  • 10 years sales experience with a minimum of 4 years in sales leadership roles.
  • Highly motivated and self-start attitude, with comfort working in a very fast paced environment. 
  • Experienced as a team leader with excellent feedback as a manager from prior teammates.
  • BA/BS University degree required with strong academic record.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated work experience at a high growth, multi-product company.
