As Adia’s Head of Inside Sales you will help accelerate Adia’s growth through the creation and expansion of a new centralized, remote sales model. You will be launching sales efforts across the US from our HQ in Austin, Texas and grow the footprint of Adia through your prospecting, deal and pipeline management, as well as closing abilities.

You will build strong relationships with all stakeholders at Adia working closely with senior leadership, marketing, and operations teams to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue and build value for our clients. Our Head of Inside Sales will be able to work at both the strategic and tactical levels.

Our Head of Inside Sales will be entrepreneurial and resourceful in their approach and a natural in applying strategy while executing tactics and growing the team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • As the leader on the Inside Sales team, you will be responsible for the success of a new sales approach
  • Once successfully proven, build, hire and train a world-class sales organization from the ground up to further strengthen the sales approach and expand our client base nationally
  • Take a very hands-on approach to prospecting, developing and closing business opportunities in target markets
  • You will implement and execute sales processes and forecasting in order to consistently exceed revenue targets
  • Stay informed on all relevant industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs, represent the company at various industry trade shows and conferences, sales meetings, and networking events
  • Network and consult with prospective clients, create and manage relationships with C-Level executives while identifying key decision makers in the sales process
  • Be curious and creative in setting up and growing the Inside Sales organization by challenging existing processes and developing a tenacious sales organization

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 5+ years (3+ years in sales leadership) of successful experience in selling professional consulting, software or similar services to the hospitality, retail, call center and/or sports and entertainment industries. Ideally, in Inside Sales.
  • Demonstrable track record of above-target performance - individually and as sales leader
  • Sharp strategic thinking and vision. A history of running quickly with little supervision. Ability to adapt to and lead through fast-paced, high-growth, ambiguous environments and complex sales cycles
  • Able to “roll up your sleeves” to do what is needed in urgent situations while maintaining a “big-picture” view. You are excited about the idea of working with a small team to get the job done, even if you sometimes need to do things that are outside of your direct job description
  • Understanding and application of sales and prospecting methodologies
  • Strong networking skills with an active network at C-level
  • Adept at serving as both an individual contributor and in a leadership role, you can give feedback and receive it well
  • Experience working in a startup environment preferred
