Influencer Community and Social Media Manager
Trend is a curated marketplace of influencers and brands. We help brands source high quality user generated content and targeted exposure with social media influencers. We work with some of the hottest brands in the consumer goods and services space like LYFT, Four Sigmatic, REBBL, Bouquet Bar, Health Ade Kombucha and more. We are looking for a Influencer Community and Social Media Manager to help cultivate our thriving community of influencers and execute on our social media strategy.

This position is an exciting and unique opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the influencer marketing space. Working out of our office in Austin, this position plays a key role in the cultivation of our community of influencers and in the development and implementation of social media marketing strategy while maintaining a deliberate, laser focus on initiatives that will have measurable impact on achieving company goals. The Influencer Community and Social Media Manager is flexible, an excellent communicator, proactive, and excited about being a part of a small dynamic team that is poised for major growth.
Responsibilities include:
You will communicate with our community of influencers, serving as a resource for them as they collaborate with our brand partners. You will also cultivate a sense of community among our influencers through social media, content creation, and direct communication. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. As a Social Media professional, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
Provide customer support to influencers when they have questions about Trend and specific brand campaigns, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitoring customer reviews
Grow the Trend community of influencers
Implement social media strategy, including the coordination of Instagram takeovers by Trend influencers, campaigns to increase engagement and enrollment, and more
Set specific objectives and report on ROI
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Write and send weekly newsletters
Write content related to user-generated content, influencer marketing, and other relevant topics.
Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Manage influencer CRM system
Requirements
Minimum 1-3 years experience as a Social Media Manager
Genuinely enjoy social media and have an eye for aesthetics. Previous experience as a social media influencer or blogger, a plus!
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Strong ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Experience in graphic design, a plus
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and multitasking skills
Results oriented, flexible, resourceful and self-motivated
