RetailMeNot is looking for a high-energy, detailed Inside Sales Representative that has had success building customer relationships in a transactional and relationship environment. You will be responsible for selling RetailMeNot products and services into our emerging business segment. This position allows you to build your career in sales at a merit based company and prepares you for additional sales opportunities within RetailMeNot.

You will report to the Manager of Emerging Markets and be a key contributor in the sales process. In this role, you will acquiring new retail/brand customers, manage inbound sales lead queue and pipeline, partner with networks and agencies to ensure overall success of client goals, and assist in the development media plans to meet client’s needs.


This is an excellent selling opportunity for you to help drive new account growth and collaborate with new and emerging business across a wide swath of merchant verticals. A successful RetailMeNot Inside Sales Representative will build relationships cross functionally, develop sales skills and become an expert on the RetailMeNot value proposition all while embodying the RetailMeNot core values.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, liberal arts or communications from a four-year college or university
  • You have 2 to 3 years experience in account management, sales, or marketing
  • You live in the Austin, Texas area
  • You are proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • You have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • You have experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • You have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • You have extraordinary interpersonal skills
  • You are self-motivated and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • You have experience in online advertising, mobile, retail industry or marketing services - affiliate Marketing experience is a plus
  • You've got a real passion for technology
  • You have a proven track record of success in hitting sales targets or goals

What You'll Do

  • You'll effectively manage RetailMeNot’s RBS customers within assigned segment of business.
  • You'll prospect for new business relationships. Estimating potential financial impact of new business opportunities
  • You'll convert inbound leads from the Sales queue
  • You'll summarize and present benefits of strategic partnership to prospective merchants as needed.
  • You'll be able to clearly articulate the RMN value prop to customers
  • You'll manage complete sales cycle process from identifying to closing new retailer/brand relationships
  • You'll achieve quarterly goals, including account acquisition targets
  • You'll monitor and report on effectiveness of optimization campaigns as needed for key accounts
