About the role
We are looking for a smart, strategic, high-energy and passionate person who wants to develop their sales skills by joining our Austin Sales team. As an Inside Sales Representative at Evernote you will be a part of a creative and empathetic sales team focused on helping businesses achieve more in day-to-day workflows with our Evernote Business Solution.
In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, performing outreach , conducting demo’s, and closing sales for the SMB market.

What you will do
- Work closely with Sales Management and other team members to develop targeted lists, call strategies, sales automation strategies, and overall messaging to drive new business growth.
- Actively identify solutions through phone conversations with business across many verticals
- Conduct ongoing prospecting and identify key-decision makers through email, web leads, and outbound calling
- Build customer relationships through strategic conversations and by realizing value in relation to business objectives and goals and becoming the industry expert to the customer
- Perform pipeline management, tracking, and reporting on all activities and results using Salesforce
- Perform online customer demos through various sales tools
- Develop expert level knowledge of Evernote’s product suite
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition
What you have done
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
- 2+ Years Sales Experience (SaaS a plus)
- Demonstrated success in meeting monthly targets & goals
- Prior experience with Salesforce.com and basic reporting
- Experience with techniques and rigor required for high volume outbound phone prospecting
- Proficiency in using sales automation, prospecting, and customer research tools
