The opportunity
As a Lead Development Representative you’ll be in charge of sourcing, vetting and distributing every software deal that lands on our deals page. If you’re a self-motivated hustler and goal digger, you’re exactly the kind of person we’re looking for!
What you’ll be doing
- Daily sourcing of accounts/leads for the Sales team to pursue in outreach-- accounts tailored around ideal AppSumo partner profile
- Manage qualification and distribution of accounts for the BD team
- Consistently find new sources to prospect from (prospect sites, lists, new places to scrape from)
- Build specific lists for targeting marketing outreach (i.e. email marketing lists, Graphic design tool list, business operations list, etc.)
- Compile research reports on the SaaS landscape and identify whitespace opportunities for the company to expand into. Present the reports to Sales leadership
This is a unique role that requires drive and initiative — take action first, ask for forgiveness later.
Must-have skills
- Bachelor's degree required; technical or business-related field preferred
- Desire to pursue a career in tech sales
- The ability to multitask and prioritize
- High standards — missing a goal isn’t an option for you and you go the 110%
In the first three months of this role, success means hitting your ramping quota in the first two months and the full quota on your third month
