REX is seeking a talented Closer/Doc Drawer/Funder to prepare closing documents in multiple states for a mortgage banker. The individual in this role will be responsible for drawing initial and final closing disclosures as well as drawing loan docs for conventional, government and jumbo products.
Responsibilities:
- Review all information pertaining to fees, rates, property information, vesting, etc. to ensure accuracy prior to drawing documents, and work with escrow/title/processor to obtain missing information
- Balance with settlement agent both at initial CD and final-balance prior to loan docs.
- Prepare/Draw all closing documents and send to settlement agent
- Review signed loan documents promptly and advise settlement agent and processor of any outstanding items to authorize funding. Must be able to accommodate same day signing and fundings if needed.
- Review final funding conditions provided to determine requirements are met
- Prepare funding figures for wire, balance with settlement agent prior to wire
- Work closely with processing to meet and exceed timing goals and deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of doc drawing and loan funding in mortgage industry
- Encompass knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of multiple state loan docs/fundings is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow through skills
- Ability to work and adapt in a fast paced working environment
