The Loan Opener role is responsible for supporting staff and branches by performing a variety of duties to include; validating loan documentation received, requesting third party documentation to ensure timely closing and accuracy in each loan transaction. 

Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy of disclosures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide disclosures and redisclosures in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Perform third party vendor requests, including but not limited to; requesting IRS transcripts, credit supplements, written verifications of employment, flood certifications, title work requests, and ordering property appraisals
• Work closely with loan processors to ensure successful transactions 

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years in mortgage industry preferred 
• Knowledge of Encompass a plus but not required
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues
• Great communication skills
• Ability to efficiently multitask in a fast paced environment
