Who is Bold Commerce?

Named one of North America’s fastest-growing companies by Deloitte, Bold Commerce provides innovative ecommerce technology for businesses of all sizes. We believe Bold brands should have the ability to create and customize powerful transaction experiences — across all channels. Staples Canada, Vera Bradley and Harry Rosen are among the 90,000+ brands in over 170 countries that trust Bold’s suite of ecommerce tools to power their online stores every day.

We're made up of more than 400 professionals (and growing) who live and breathe ecommerce, and truly care about what we do. We call ourselves Builders. Here at Bold, we live by the BUILDERS Code, our shared set of practices, beliefs, and values that help to shape this dynamic company.

Bold is looking for an experienced Manager of Agency Partnerships to lead a team of Partner Account Managers. This team is responsible for growing new and existing partnerships to drive creative and scalable ways of leveraging Bold and our suite of products to our partners. You will work very closely with our Director of Partnerships and Sales and Marketing Teams to manage the enterprise pipeline and go-to-market activities that bring new partners and clients to Bold.

The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience in a similar role, a passion for ecommerce and a deep understanding of the landscape and the agency partner ecosystem.

What you’ll do

  • Manage, teach, and coach a team of Partner Account Managers
  • Manage KPIs for the team, identifying opportunities to improve performance
  • Partner with the Sales Team to drive partner-sourced brand referrals and effectively co-sell with agency partners
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies
  • Work with partners to drive joint marketing initiatives through events and other marketing campaigns
  • Work with partners to develop partner success metrics, including specific KPIs that drive brand adoption and revenue growth for both Bold and the partner
  • Work closely with Enterprise Sales, Product, and Merchant Success Teams to ensure smooth on-boarding experiences
  • Deliver compelling demonstrations of Bold’s suite of products and address high-level technical questions, serving as a subject matter expert
  • Plan, organize, lead, and control balanced revenue growth, continued brand awareness and customer satisfaction with a long-term, multi-year focus
  • Serve as a role model, source of inspiration, and coach for less experienced peers
  • Partner with leadership in cultivating an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of combined leadership and partner sales experience in ecommerce
  • A proven track record of leading a results-oriented team of Partner Account Managers
  • A proven history of successfully and consistently achieving revenue goals and objectives, within a complex client acquisition-driven business, preferably in the enterprise space
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to see and discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues both in the short and long term
  • Familiarity with Bold’s products and experience with Shopify, BigCommerce and other ecommerce platforms that depend on integration partners
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a successful track record of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • In-depth knowledge of business practices, industry practices, trends, and sales cycles
  • Capacity to manage a consistent and promising pipeline of leads and prospects for new sales activities
  • Understanding that the success of a partnership is a blend of short-term and long-term goals that will lead to a long term relationship
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to effectively prioritize, creatively solve complex problems, and use data to make decisions
  • Experience in understanding, communicating, and analyzing ROI in the negotiation process
  • Experience working with enterprise sales counterparts on complex, partner-driven sales opportunities
  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce/Hubspot)
  • Ability to travel into territory a minimum of 25% of the month
