WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON 

The Manager of our Renewals Team will play a strategic role in overseeing Qualia’s revenue expansion and retention initiatives. They will focus on renewing Qualia’s customers and identify both up-sell and cross-sell opportunities. This Manager will work cross-functionally to ensure there is company-wide alignment with regard to customer renewals. This leader will oversee the daily activities of their team, ensuring successful retention and growth across our customer segments. This role reports to the Director of Marketplace & Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing Renewals team to achieve key performance metrics related to net and gross retention
  • Provide 90/120/180-day outlook on forecasted renewal performance
  • Reporting and monitoring team performance, including identifying quality and efficiency improvements
  • Perform detailed forensic analysis of negative retention trends and propose solutions to combat churn, particularly in high-value, strategic customer segments
  • Work hand in hand with Customer Success leadership to ensure cross-team collaboration throughout customer lifecycle
  • Create a system and process to identify and manage customers who have high potential of churn, up-sell, and down-sell
  • Managing relationships with cross functional stakeholders, including Onboarding, Strategic and High Growth Sales, Finance, Legal and Support
  • Leverage existing processes and reporting as well as lead the creation of new methods for early identification of potential churn 
  • Building a high performing team through effective hiring, development, and coaching

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • 5-7 years demonstrated success in a sales, renewals and account management
  • 2-4 years in leading SaaS revenue and/or renewal teams 
  • Strong analytical background with proven financial literacy and problem solving skills
  • Highly effective at navigating an organization and aligning company-wide resources to support renewal efforts
  • Experience with interviewing and hiring candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com 
  • Experience in Excel
  • Background in finance is a plus
