ABOUT THE ROLE


The Market Success Lead will be a key member of Bright Health’s Market Success team, enabling the success of Bright Health’s market teams across the country through the support of scaled processes, tools, and solutions in service to market leaders. This role works collaboratively with other Bright Health functional teams to ensure efficient and effective resolution of issues and support the execution of initiatives impacting market performance. The Market Success Lead will build relationships with market leadership and other functional teams across Bright to drive forward scalable solutions and operational efficiencies within and across markets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and deploy Bright’s suite of market governance and tools, including methodologies and resources, governance for driving market performance and coordinating cross-team priorities and issues
  • Partner with Market Leaders to enable the success of Care Partner, network providers, and aligned practice relationships, including coordination of initiatives, meetings, and forums
  • Support in-market teams and regional market leadership by proactively identifying and communicating cross market issues to the appropriate individuals and managing their resolution in collaboration with other functional areas
  • Plan and facilitate meetings with a variety of project teams and manage the interaction with other departments
  • Manage materials development and project documentation (e.g., meeting decks, project workflows, summary reports) in support of market meetings with Care Partners and internal Bright Health leadership
  • Partner with market leadership to implement and track key campaigns and initiatives, in coordination with other central functions
  • Standardize plans for organizing resources, producing deliverables, managing timeframes and ensuring a seamless delivery of Bright Health’s services and products to partner organizations
  • Execute follow-through for process improvement opportunities and key internal initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and promote best practices
  • Drive knowledge-sharing by contributing to the development of playbooks to support in-market activities and performance and scale coordination across other Bright Health functional areas to achieve local market objectives

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Six (6) or more years of experience in project management is required; preferably within a healthcare payer or provider setting
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in healthcare operations preferred
  • Experience effectively engaging with remote/virtual teams is required
  • Complex project management and process improvement experience is required

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work both individually and well with a team
  • Strong collaboration skills to effectively work with internal and external teams to meet the business needs
  • Strong service skills, for both internal and external customers
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and, alongside manager, inform prioritization of work
  • Experience working in highly matrixed and cross-functional environments
  • Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, spanning technology, operations, clinical, provider relations and markets that contribute to driving an exceptional experience for members and for clinicians
  • Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint
