MarketPlace App Store Sales Specialist
The Q2 MarketPlace team currently has a great opportunity for a MarketPlace FI and Partner Sales Specialist who will be responsible to drive rapid adoption of the MarketPlace and the Partner Apps into our financial institution customers. This is an exciting new line of business created to extend Q2’s platform and offer a marketplace of third-party, Q2 and financial institution-built solutions to FIs as well as their consumer and business end-users.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gain strong knowledge of the Marketplace and Partner Apps and work with Q2 marketing and partners to help build a compelling value prop for the FIs
Engage directly with the FIs to uncover relevant insights about their goals, challenges, and account portfolio to position and drive adoption of the Marketplace and Partner Apps
Work with and enable Q2’s sales and relationship management organization in a leveraged model to accelerate FI adoption of the Marketplace and Partner Apps
Carry quota for a target number of FIs and FI/Partner combinations that go live
Measure and manage FI/Partner App adoption progress; learn and continue to evolve the strategy and approach
Build scalable processes to automate as much of the above to enable the Marketplace to scale
Work closely with Marketing and the End User Adoption Specialists to handoff and help increase end user purchases of the Partner Apps from their FIs
Work closely with Marketing and Business Development on optimizing the relationship with FinTech partners, including ongoing analysis of performance and reporting
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years’ experience overall including at a Financial Services cloud software/tech company in a Direct sales role or Channel sales role
Strategic Alliance / Business Development experience preferred
Marketing background a plus
Must have a solid understanding of the Financial Services industry and Fintech software market
