We are looking for a customer centric Mortgage Loan Originator to join our newly built mortgage brokerage business, Bungalo Mortgage, an affiliate business of Bungalo Homes.

About the Role:

  • Provide best-in-class service to consumers while guiding them through the mortgage application and pre-approval process.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers’ needs and provide the most beneficial financing solution.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the process to maximize conversion.
  • Collect, input, review, analyze, and evaluate various types of financial documentation to ensure loan meets qualifying requirements with the assistance of an automated Point-of-Sale system.
  • Partner closely with the Bungalo Mortgage Loan Processor to manage pipeline and facilitate final loan approvals . 

 

About You:

  • Passion for customer service and the drive to proactively seek out information, resources, and options for clients
  • Naturally curious about people and enjoy building relationships
  • Fast learner who is highly coachable and a leader to those around them
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly assess and process large amounts of information
  • Open to learning new mortgage sales and customer service processes
  • Comfortable with technology; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Strongly value integrity and privacy

 

Qualifications/Skills:   

  • Minimum of 3 years working as a Mortgage Loan Originator     
  • NMLS SAFE ACT compliant and hold an active license in Texas and/or Florida
  • Strong understanding of Purchase loan transactions
  • Working knowledge of agency and government loan programs (FNMA/FHLMC, FHA/VA, etc)
  • Experience using loan origination and automated underwriting systems
  • Ability to simplify complex processes and make it easy for customers to understand
  • Comfortable with technology; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Experience using Salesforce prefered
  • Degree from a 4-year accredited college or university or other commensurate experience
