Operations Account Manager, Water Hauling

Through categorical expertise, we are responsible for implementing technical solutions to match the unique needs of our customers: these range from traditional sourcing needs to workforce management to on-demand services.
RigUp is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist for our Logistics team that will be responsible for recruiting, vetting, and managing water hauling companies and related logistics. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has a proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships, executional hustle to exceed expectations, and is entrepreneurial at heart. What you'll be doing
- Explore and develop a regional strategy for water hauling, trucking, and logistics service line execution
- Prospect, qualify, and onboard top-tier water hauling suppliers
- Maintain supply pool in excess of demand and seed supply in new regions
- Support day-to-day operations leveraging relationships to ensure execution
- Partner with our diverse base of oilfield suppliers to understand their needs and proactively match work opportunities commensurate with experience and desired position
- Speak the language of the oilfield and understand trucking/logistics supplier nuances
- Partner with our product, onboarding, and success teams to streamline the customer experience across each individual’s platform lifecycle
What you should have
- 3+ years experience in customer facing roles (e.g., sales, support, success, onboarding)
- Oil & gas experience in a logistics/trucking/operations role preferred
- Water hauling operations knowledge preferred
- You have a ‘can do’ attitude, and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- You are an entrepreneur at heart, and are willing to wear whatever hat the business requires
- Able to prioritize a multitude of tasks across different strategic dimensions
- You are results-driven, seeking to fulfill on customer requests 100% of the time
- You use data to educate your relationship-driven decision making, taking objective viewpoints and parsing signals from noise
- The phone is your friend - you embrace creating and maintaining relationships through texting, (cold) calling, and being available at odd hours to serve your expansive client base
- The idea of going into the field excites you: you love (or want to love) and understand the oilfield and the men and women who comprise the field at its core
- You thrive in relationship-based roles, and you approach your internal, cross-functional activities with the same rigor as you serve your customers
