We’re looking for a Partner Development Manager to play a critical role in developing Strategic Partnerships and drive new revenue growth by selling personalized solutions to prospective clients within the Nutrition Vertical . This individual will be responsible for growing new and existing business and will report to the Partner Development Group Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively prospect, qualify, grow and maintain partnerships within Nutrition Vertical (including CPG, Grocery and Restaurant)
- Sell portfolio of solutions for MyFitnessPal including B2B Programs (Premium Nutrition Offerings) and Digital Media Programs (including mobile and web display media and integrated app sponsorships)
- Develop thoughtful and tailored POVs for clients relative to MyFitnessPal’s leadership in health and wellness
- Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets
- Drive partnership performance through engagement of key stakeholders at a senior level, and deliver world class customer service
- Coordinate with Partner Manager, Strategy and Marketing teams to maximize revenue potential with optimal efficiency
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements with clients and agencies
- Manage activity using Salesforce.com
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Team minded…. goal-oriented and passion for winning
- 5-7 years of sales or business development experience - Nutrition Vertical experience a plus!
- Solution selling approach with strong point of view on future of digital, mobile and connected health
- B2B Experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience building relationships at C-Level
- Understanding of the advertising marketplace with a focus on mobile and digital platforms
- Existing knowledge and enthusiasm for wellness, connected fitness and wearables
- Ability to develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline, and a proven track record of exceeding goals
- Must be creative, smart, and passionate, as well as a problem solver and a team player.
- Willingness to travel if/when applicable
