Partner Development Manager

We are looking for a relationship-driven and business-focused Partner Development Manager to join our Alliances team and continue Place’s rapid growth. This is an opportunity to make a big impact on Place, the overall technology ecosystem, and your career. You’ll be joining a team focused on expanding our partnerships to drive awareness and new business opportunities. You will operate in a fast-paced environment on a small, nimble team. This role is ideal for someone who can see the big picture and has the ability to build relationships and marshall resources to achieve revenue-generating outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Build and grow relationships within Salesforce’s Sales and Solution Engineering teams to evangelize the PlaceCPM solution and generate referrals of new customers to Place
Attend and engage with people at Salesforce ecosystem events to represent Place and evangelize the value of Place’s partnership with Salesforce
Recruit, manage, and grow other key Place partnerships across a range of partner types, including consulting and advisory firms, system integrators, and technology companies, in alignment with Place Technology’s go-to-market strategy
Drive partner-sourced (indirect) PlaceCPM customer acquisition to exceed quarterly revenue targets
Track and manage partner-sourced sales opportunities alongside our sales teams to increase win rates, grow opportunity size, and accelerate sales velocity
Coordinate and lead events like sales enablement sessions and networking events with Salesforce Sales and Solution Engineering teams and other key partner teams
Develop and provide partner teams with PlaceCPM sales training and enablement resources
Develop and assist the Place Marketing team in the development of joint sales and marketing collateral, white papers, best practices, web content, press releases, case studies, articles, and other materials.
Conduct monthly or quarterly business reviews with PlaceCPM reseller and implementation partners to ensure progression of each partnership
Who You Are
3+ years business-to-business channel and cloud technology experience preferred
Experience evangelizing software as a service (SaaS) offerings strongly preferred
Basic to intermediate fluency in the language of accounting and finance preferred
Demonstrated success at growing existing strategic business relationships at scale
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Experience working with partners through account management, product management, program management and business development engagements
Relationship-building skills to identify and create mutually beneficial opportunities with partners in order to best represent Place’s value to partners and customers
Experience developing independent software vendor (ISV) partner programs such as Salesforce and Oracle preferred
Proven ability to take strategic initiatives from idea, through partner engagements, to market success
