The business development team is looking for a Partner Manager for a unique position that is responsible for advancing our business goals and key program initiatives directly with our core digital, social and messaging platform partners like Facebook, Instagram, Apple Business Chat, WhatsApp and LinkedIn.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in managing complex external partner, prospect or customer relationships and expectations. They should also have expertise in effectively managing internal stakeholders (i.e. product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success) to successfully deliver on goals.

This unique role is critical to our success as a business, and it comes with growth opportunities to understand and help shape our partner strategy. It will also fundamentally require a lot of flexibility and an energetic, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality due to the ever-changing landscape of our platform partners. 


Some Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage key partner programs and projects on behalf of the business, including alpha/beta participation, meeting partner program participation requirements, and internal education.
  • Work directly with digital, social and messaging channel partners to manage relationships (i.e. Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Apple, etc.)
  • Work directly with Khoros customers (in partnership with other internal teams) to bring them opportunities such as new partner channels, beta features and marketing opportunities.
  • Work directly with internal teams at Khoros to drive specific platform partner goals to completion, including technical projects, product updates and marketing deliverables (like webinars and case studies).
  • Internally evangelize platform partner best practices and track customer adoption goals with our sales and customer success teams.
  • Proactively pitch Khoros solutions and communicate our business priorities to partners. 
  • Provide information to internal engineering and product teams about any relevant upcoming partner changes or announcements that may impact our products.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 4+ years work experience in a partner, sales, business development or customer management role
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of positively motivating and encouraging others, including cross-functional peers, to reach common goals
  • Curiosity and creative enthusiasm in driving key initiatives forward
  • Highly flexible and comfortable with change


Nice to Haves:

  • Project management experience
  • Prior experience working with social networks or messaging channels in some capacity
