As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will work closely with Khoros customers and prospects, helping define and build complex technical solutions leveraging the Khoros platform within the sales cycle . You’ll have success in this role by understanding the customer’s definition of business value, technical architecture,  and challenging them to think about new ways to differentiate and transform their business. In short, you’ll inspire some of the world’s most iconic brands to better engage with their customers by providing thought-provoking and consultative strategies spanning multiple technologies. 

The perfect candidate is a well-rounded individual who has skills in strategy, technical analysis, cloud architecture, and solution design. The ability to quickly research new technologies and provide perspective as well as evaluate multiple solutions options (along with the implications thereof and the dependencies within) is key. This role is part of the Pre-Sales organization within Sales and works closely with partners in Product and Professional Services to articulate and present best in class design.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the wider Sales Team to deliver product demos, RFP responses, and PoC exercises
  • Own complex integration and API discussions focused on integrating the Khoros platform into a brand’s ecosystem
  • Create technical documentation and assets that can be leveraged by the entire organization
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to solution platform enhancements (APIs, Integrations, etc.) that can be leveraged by future and existing customers
  • Coach and train others within the pre-sales organization on new and emerging technologies
  • Partner with the Customer Experience, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Services, setting the stage for a successful customer implementation of Khoros products

Qualifications

  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of Solution Architecture experience
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software/services development
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Machine Learning and NLP is a plus
  • Experience with customer experience solutions and digital customer care strategies like messaging, chat, and voice is preferred
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to read situations and people and react accordingly
  • Ability to demonstrate software products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge
  • Self-starter with solid  written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team to creatively solve problems
  • Experience with solution selling

 

This role is budgeted in the $180,000 - $200,00 OTE range. Salary will ultimately be based on a candidate’s experience and external market factors.
