We’re looking for a performance-oriented, data-driven Sales Development Manager to lead our outbound team of SDRs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success both as an individual contributor and team manager. Your success will be measured by your ability to effectively increase the quality and quantity of qualified leads that our SDR team is bringing in. What You’ll Do
- Mentor and lead a growing team of high performing Sales Development Representatives
- Create and execute on performance plans, ensuring that weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity and lead goals are met
- Ensure the team is consistently having value-driven conversations with prospects and adjust call strategies as needed
- Regularly conduct call reviews, call monitoring, and coaching sessions
- Motivate SDRs to exceed goals through coaching, activities, role plays, and creative incentives both at the individual and team level
- Analyze, report on, and continually optimize team output leveraging tools such as Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, LinkedInNavigator, and other data tools
- Work cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity of the SDR team
Skills & Requirements
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years’ experience in an SDR or inside sales role AND 2+ years of SDR or inside sales management experience
- Consistent track record of quota achievement as an individual contributor
- Proven success managing a high performing inside sales or SDR team
- Prospecting experience that includes cold outreach cadence management, opportunity qualification, objection handling, call structure/control, and territory management
- Superior time management and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce.com
- Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
- Willingness to "get in the trenches", roll up your sleeves and lead by example
