Gecko services customers across the USA and internationally primarily in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Pulp & Paper markets.
Job At A Glance
The Sales Development Representative will come in to enhance the existing sales team in various industries across North America focusing on the power, paper, industrial, and petrochemical industry. The individual will be responsible for growing new business, developing new sales tactics, supporting existing accounts and informing product team on future R&D. The individual will play a key role in increasing revenue by generating leads, researching customers, qualifying prospects, conducting meetings, attending trade shows, putting together proposals, and occasionally attending onsite meetings.
What You Will Do
Entrepreneurially minded to improve sales and technical products/services
Set Meetings by cold calling, attending trade conferences, and running webinar presentations, etc.
Research the customer and evaluate customers’ capabilities and needs
Respond to RFQs and put together proposals which include technical details
Occasionally run meetings at the customer site to further understand the opportunity
Meet personal and team sales targets
Attend meetings, company events and trainings to keep informed of the latest developments
Report and provide feedback to management using statistical data
What Gecko Is Looking For
- Willingness to travel domestic overnight travel, with possibility of adding international.
- Experience in power or related heavy industry and an understanding of how plants operate, handle outages, non-destructive testing, etc.
