StreamSets is looking to add to its crack team of top performing SDRs that serve to drive pipeline and spread the gospel of StreamSets. You will be responsible for account penetration through a combination of outbound cold and warm calling, and messaging through platforms such as, DiscoverOrg, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.  You will also play a role in responding to web inquiries and other INBOUND requests.


Job Responsibilities


  • Working closely with field sales counterparts, develop and execute on cold calling and email campaign strategies to qualify potential customers as a match for our Big Data technology.

  • Qualify outbound opportunities and develop a strong demo pipeline via phone and email communications.

  • Meet quarterly/monthly qualified opportunity goals to ensure company revenue objectives are met.

  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the StreamSets technology, industry trends, and competition.



  • Some previous high tech sales or marketing experience a plus

  • Knowledge of Big Data, ETL, or Business Intelligence markets a plus

  • Exceptional attitude and team player

  • Aptitude to learn nuanced messaging and positioning of a mature technology platform

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Competitive and driven work ethic

  • Excellent phone manner and fearless attitude when it comes to picking up the phone
