ShipperHQ is a bootstrapped startup located in Austin, TX making a big impact in the eCommerce shipping space. We are a premier shipping experience manager for eCommerce sites, selling to clients large and small around the world. We have a fantastic reputation and are recognized for our high-quality service. Our SaaS product, ShipperHQ, launched in 2015 and is growing quickly.

We have 40 staff spread across the UK, Australia, and the US. 33 members are based in Austin, TX. We are expanding our US office and are now looking for local staff to support ShipperHQ's growth. We are seeking an outgoing individual with a positive attitude that is willing to grow with the company. Currently we are all working remotely. 

Job Overview

Seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a background SaaS sales with the desire to work their way up to Inside Sales Representative. Opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a fast-growing startup and a leader in the e-commerce shipping technology space.

Looking for a driven and determined individual who will focus on the qualification and nurturing of new business opportunities for our Sales Team. We are looking for hardworking people to convey the value of ShipperHQ to Store Owners, Directors and C-Level executives of the businesses we sell to and will benefit from our product.

Successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, passion to be part of ShipperHQ, and the drive to not only meet but exceed sales targets. Working closely with our Management team and our Senior Sales people will give you the opportunity to develop and continue to develop your career in sales. You will learn from the best by working alongside the top performers on the sales team along with sales leadership. Self-motivated hustlers looking to grow their career in software sales are an ideal fit for this position.

Day-to-day, you’ll uncover customer pain points, build out our solution to match their needs & present the value of our industry-leading technology. It’s satisfying and enjoyable, and you’ll never be bored.

The role is as an Sales Development Representative to contribute in the following areas:

  • Proactive outreach & qualification of inbound trial customers
  • Handling Churn conversations with customers, turn them into long-term customers
  • Gathering customer requirements
  • Fielding inbound sales calls, emails & live chat inquiries
  • Schedule handover to Account Executives
  • Nurturing customers through Free Trial to Paid Subscriber

The ideal candidate would have the following experience:

  • 1+ Years in a SaaS sales role, focused on inside sales
  • 2+ Years of experience in Customer Service
  • Experience in and knowledge of eCommerce and the eCommerce software landscape
  • Experience with sales processes and funnel management

The ideal candidate would have the following qualities:

  • Highly motivated and willing to wear many hats, we’re a fast-paced startup and work as a team to support our growth, so you’ll often get tasks that aren’t directly related to your job function
  • Critical thinker, you don’t just look at what we’re doing today, but are constantly thinking about ways we can improve to supercharge our growth
  • Enjoy getting technical, our salespeople aren’t engineers, but we are problem solvers and sometimes those problems can be very complex. Don’t expect to just read from a script.

Logistics:

  • Experience working in SaaS Sales is preferred
  • This is a full-time position working in our Austin Office
  • $30,980 - $45,000 a year

COVID-19 considerations:
ShipperHQ has been remote since March 2020, we will continue to operate as a remote company until it is safe to reopen our office.
