The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. You will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships. 

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and prospect for new clients and/or suppliers
  • Building and qualifying a pipeline of service providers supporting the delivery of Spruce’s service lines
  • Identify the key decision makers at prospects and make contact through phone or email
  • Qualify prospects with a mixture of phone, email, and other forms of outreach
  • Identify inefficiencies and pain points in existing workflows, and effectively communicate process improvement ideas
  • Maintain active engagement with prospects using creative follow-up communication
  • Qualify leads by identifying leading indicators that prospects may meet Spruce’s ideal client profile
  • Shepherd prospects through the funnel by coordinating schedules, meeting invitations and contact information as needed
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline data and prospect contact information in Salesforce. Conduct regular data audits as appropriate
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales development, sales enablement, business development or related field
  • Proficient with Salesforce with aptitude to advance your skill set
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills in writing, in person, or by phone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Can work independently in a remote, self-directed setting

Spruce is a venture-backed company that provides Lifestyle Services to residents, such as housekeeping, pet care, laundry, dry cleaning, and more. For $15 or less, residents can have their clean clothes folded, their dishes washed, their bed sheets changed, or their bathroom cleaned. Spruce was founded in 2016 and has scaled rapidly. The Company is currently working with 13 of the top 15 apartment managers in Texas, including Greystar, Lincoln, and Alliance.
