We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join Grocery TV, the largest digital ad network in grocery with a growing footprint in other retail types like pharmacies and convenience stores. As a member of our sales team, you'll prospect and qualify potential customers for our National Account Executives.

Responsibilities
- Strategically prospect for new business, researching companies and individuals that meet criteria for prospective partnership with Grocery TV
- Gain interest through tailored outbound cold calls, emails and multi-touch campaigns
- Qualify inbound inquiries
- Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize deal flow with outbound emails, calls, setting up meetings, etc.
- Occasionally close new business opportunities and learn how to manage a full-cycle
- Work with our Marketing team to grow brand awareness, increase inbound leads, and execute sales strategies as new products and features are released
- Play an integral part in our company's development and have the opportunity to be a founding member of the sales development team
Growth Opportunities
As an individual contributor, you will help us by vetting, prospecting, contacting, qualifying, and scheduling meetings with prospective customers. As part of your role, you will work directly with our advertising sales team leader to develop all the foundational skills necessary to become an Account Executive. As an AE, you’ll sell directly to mid-market businesses and independent agencies. If you're interested in management opportunities, you'll have regular coaching opportunities for new SDRs hired after you.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience (or relevant internship experience)
- Excellent people & communication skills
- Comfortable presenting information to potential clients and decision-makers with confidence & enthusiasm.
- Detail oriented and an appreciation for organization
- Ability to work and collaborate with a small, fast-paced team
- Love for the startup environment and building new things
- Intrinsic drive to take initiative, to figure it out and to take ownership to be successful in the role.
Compensation
We are proud to have full salary transparency on our team, and use a market-based formula that provides consistency across roles & experience levels. The current compensation range for this role is:
- Base Salary: $48,000/year
- On-Target Earnings: $79,600/year (with 100% quota attainment)
- Uncapped Commissions
