Cart.com is looking for a motivated and talented Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility is to help turn leads into qualified opportunities by partnering with marketing and sales to create and execute on program and outbound lead generation campaigns. This position, consultative selling skills and tight collaboration with the Sales team to generate new opportunities. The SDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all products and services offered at Cart.com


This is not a silo position. We want a collaborative and energetic individual that can contribute to the sales and marketing teams, work in a dynamic environment, deliver messaging and product feedback back into the marketing and product organization and work proactively to drive overall sales performance. 

Responsibilities

  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries. 
  • Act as a liaison between sales and prospect to deliver appropriate level of information at the right time for interested prospects. 
  • Identify key players, and business requirements while educating and developing leads until they are qualified and ready for sales handoff. 
  • Act as subject matter expert on all product/service offerings. 
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team on inbound strategies. 
  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining activity and lead qualification information in CRM application. 
  • Learn how to deliver a high level demo to support the Sales Team in selling efforts. 

A successful candidate should be a driven, creative, self-starter and strategic thinker.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with positive and energetic phone presence

Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team in a fast paced environment 

Previous outbound sales experience 

Previous SaaS experience 

1-2 years

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
