Sales Engineer - Australia REMOTE

 

Position Summary:
Sales Engineering is responsible for demonstrating to prospective customers how Eventus' solutions will address their business needs,  in addition to partnering closely with Account Executives and Sales Directors. The Sales Engineer is a highly visible technical and product expert in the pre-sales process, and a primary driver for internal advancement of customer requirements.

 

In this role you’ll work closely with our Sales team as the technical lead during the pre-sales process. You will be responsible for partnering with Account Executives, proactively accelerating deals by overcoming technical objections and building solutions around Eventus products. You will ensure a successful transition to the post-sale stage of the customer lifecycle and partner with Regulatory Affairs, engineering, and product to relentlessly deliver solutions to prospects.

What You'll Do:
●    Serve as the technical lead for client prospects throughout the sales process
●    Partner with Account Executives, Sales Directors, and Managing Directors to demonstrate to prospects how Eventus can best address their use cases and technical requirements
●    Help design solutions based on Eventus products while always driving toward deal closure
●    Support Account Executives in pre-sales activities related to Eventus products, such as supporting the RFP and Security Questionnaire process.
●    Educate customers and share best practices on integration throughout the sales cycle
●    Work with our engineering and product teams to translate prospect feedback into meaningful product insights.
●    Provide feedback to the product marketing team on solution value and critical product capabilities that drive value to prospects and customers.

●    Bonus: understanding of financial markets infrastructure and data systems, e.g., trading, Financial Information eXchange, Know Your Customer/Anti Money Laundering, risk management, Crypto and capital markets

What Is Required:
●    Bachelor's degree
●    2-4 years pre-sales engineering experience in Enterprise software
●    1+ years experience in the financial markets industry
●    Excellent written and oral communication skills
●    Ability to work autonomously
●    Ability to Travel ~20%
