We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to join our growing team at Liquibase. You will grow Liquibase’s business, helping public sector customers and partners support their critical mission and IT transformation efforts using Liquibase solutions. In this role, you will work to gain an understanding of the customer’s mission and challenges and will be responsible for building new relationships and expanding business with existing customers. 

• Minimum of 3 years of software sales experience in a federal sales role
• Intimate knowledge of the U.S. public sector, U.S. federal sector in particular
• Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions to multiple decision-makers in matrixed organizations
• Solid understanding of the U.S. federal government’s acquisition and procurement process
• Communication and technical skills that allow you to develop relationships at all levels throughout various organizations and programs within an agency

What You'll Do:

• Solve an interesting problem, working cross-functionally to build value beyond the community solution
• Create opportunities and manage a pipeline of customers 
• Develop and execute a territory plan
• Negotiate and close new customer contracts
• Manage revenue forecasts & meet assigned sales quotas
• Lead a cross-functional team to develop, close, and expand opportunities

Bonus Points:

• Experience or familiarity with open source software companies and dynamics
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD solutions and ecosystem
• Familiarity with database technologies, roles, and processes
