Sales Manager - New Markets
At Favor, we are looking for an authentic and compassionate sales leader with a genuine interest in supporting local merchants and new markets to join our team as Sales Manager (Location Flexible). You are tenacious, passionate, curious, innovative, humble, and a natural hustler. In the beginning you will be a Player/Coach, but long-term you will be responsible for building out the team for future expansions and helping those new markets grow and become profitable.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate new business leads, develop and maintain pipeline and help close accounts
- Hire, train and mentor a high performing Sales team supporting new, expansion markets
- Plan a sales approach for your territory
- Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business
- Work cross-functionally with Operations and Marketing to ensure successful market launches and continued growth
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years experience Sales experience, including 2 in management
- Track record of breaking into new markets and driving revenue growth
- A strong history of executing full life cycle sales over the phone or in person
- A highly customer-focused mindset and consultative sales approach
- Can serve as a player/coach to start with the ability to evolve as we grow
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinker having both book and people smarts
