Sales Manager

Outbound Engine is looking to hire a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager does not just manage a team of hungry sales people who are eager to become the very best in their field. The duties of this position are critical to enhancing team morale, comradery, training, increase sales, new hire ramp-up, and the ability to lead by example. The ideal Sales Manager is an experienced and professional closer who is well versed in the art of transactional selling, using proven selling methodologies and skills. You will be extremely proficient in not only your ability to help your team prospect and close, but measuring KPI metrics of each of your team members to not just meet but exceed quota(s), and more importantly possess the critical passion in to further sharpening your Leadership skills. This position will directly impact the Sales Teams revenue flow.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Be open to being the Daniel-san (or Danielle-san) to our Miyagi and learn how to become a highly skilled Leaders, not just manager
  • Possess Ninja-like phone skills to lead and organize the efforts of a team of 4-12 reps
  • Work with fellow sales managers to gather and interpret information on metrics to drive and close business
  • Compile and deliver competitive information or bulletins, where evident, vital to OutboundEngine
  • Work creatively and independently to create a unique sales culture to positively impact your team
  • Aid the sales team in every aspect of fostering and developing solid sales transactions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Train, teach and mentor sales people to reach new goals and success.
  • Must be able to adapt to new things.
  • You must be motivated and have a fantastic work ethic.
  • Ability to work both independently and with peers.
  • Knowledge of sales process, tactics, procedures, and styles.
  • Ability to teach, sell, and duplicate training material.
  • Superior listening skills and public speaking skills.
  • Data driven, and the ability to transfer that data to your team in a way they understand.
  • Possess an attitude of positivity, excellence, discipline, and success.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor each salesperson’s daily performance.
  • Prepare and conduct regular sales meetings with the team.
  • Review sales performance of your salespeople and motivate and stimulate them to even greater achievements.
  • Assist team members in the sales process when necessary.
  • Lead by example and carry a new hire ramp based quota for up to 4 months.
  • Develop and mentor team members so that they continue to grow in their sales career.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • An excellent people leader, you know how to motivate and get the most out of each individual on your team.
  • A successful track record in sales with a focus on inside sales.
  • A proven track record in B2B telesales. Preferably a general knowledge of verticals such as Real Estate, Mortgage, and Insurance
  • Prior sales or management experience in a Software or SaaS environment.
  • Experience managing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-orientated inside sales team.
  • Excellent questioning, qualification and closing skills.
  • The ideal individual for this position will have the ability to identify appropriate sales strategies and execute to a sales plan.
  • Skillful objection handling techniques and ability to operate at all levels within an organization.
  • A self-starter, who thrives under pressure to achieve challenging goals.
  • Strong communication skills, notably being able to explain value propositions to identified key decision-makers.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Apple products, G-Mail, Salesforce, and Excel.
