Sales Manager
RigUp is looking for a leader with a great talent for building teams who can scale a small handful of people into a large, high velocity, high performance sales team.
We’re a start-up in super-growth mode looking to take our sales teams to the next level. Critical to success in the role is the ability to identify training and process gaps and drive disciplined accountability while maintaining a sales culture of reward and recognition.
In this role, you’ll drive revenue and market share for RigUp by building an acquisition team with a high-velocity sales cadence driving the acquisition of individual customers. You will recruit, hire, train, and coach your team, measuring success by the number of new customers acquired
What You'll Do
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Develop and execute a plan for scaling the team structure and goals
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Nail your Team KPIs
- Develop account prioritization criteria strategic relationships with key accounts or industry influencers
- Deliver feedback to product teams to improve our tools, technology, and products
- Drive accountability through performance management and commitment to sales coaching and development of every team member.
- Identify training needs and work with Sales Enablement & Training to address the identified gaps
- Work closely with Sales Enablement to perfect scripting/messaging, pitch packs, and presentations, etc
- Drive innovation utilizing a scientific test and learn methodology
- Lead or assist with sales operations, planning, and forecasting
Required Skills
- 5 - 8 years of sales experience in either B2B or B2C
- 2 - 4 years of experience leading and developing account executives
- Consistent track record driving acquisition and product adoption
- Strong knowledge and documented experience of success in an ecommerce marketplace
- Program management or process improvement
- High level of comfort working in and explaining technology platforms
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally
- Strong communication skills in both writing and speaking
- Analytical and experienced with managing business forecasts and budgets; organized, data-driven, and goal oriented
- Strategic mindset with an eye for good process and scalability
- Detailed knowledge of Salesforce & Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to thrive in an environment of rapid growth, change and ambiguity; familiarity with Agile Framework
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to travel domestically 20-30%
