Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and oversight to loan officers by ensuring protocols are followed and business results are maximized.
  • Coordinate activities and partnering with Operations and Marketing teams to obtain maximum efficiencies in production.
  • Conduct general trainings in a group environment and provide specific feedback to loan officers.
  • Conduct 1x1’s with loan officers to provide coaching and feedback.
  • Develop customized action plans for each loan officer based on the observed deficiencies.
  • Work cross-functionally between various departments to measure, analyze and enhance the performance of revenue generation activities connected with sales effectiveness.
  • Assess and analyze business needs and provide management with recommendations on training plans and programs to enhance employees' knowledge and skills.
  • Analyze the overall performance of loan officers and set goals with measurable achievable targets.
  • Create job aids to guide and assist sales personnel with their responsibilities.
  • Coordinate communications related to sales initiatives, products and processes.
  • Prepare new loan officers by conducting orientation to sales process and developing individual coaching plans.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in supporting loan officers based on best practice sales techniques.

Skills & Experience

  • You have 5+ years experience in sales as an individual contributor - proven track record of being a top performer.
  • 2+ years experience managing a team of at least 5 direct reports - proven track record of being an impactful sales leader.
  • Experience in online credit, lending, or mortgage lending preferred
  • Prior experience mentoring and developing others
  • You drive results and hit your numbers.
  • You know what it means to show true leadership without authority by collaborating across the business.
  • You lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • You have a high-energy attitude - you’re performance driven with a proactive approach to getting things done.
  • You have the ability to multitask while ensuring the customer and your direct reports receive the appropriate amount of attention.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal (presentations, leading team meetings) and written (e.g. clear requirements)

Location

Our office is located by many local restaurants and brewery's. We are easily accessible to highway 71/IH 35 just west of Austin Bergstrom International airport.
