We are looking for the right individuals to join the team as sales leaders to help our sales team to continue to scale, while helping the business grow 2-3X over the next 12 months.

About This Opportunity:

At Hearth, we are continuing to rapidly grow our sales team into a high-powered machine focused on SMB residential home improvement contractors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, sales, and data-driven qualities that enables them to drive engagement and production across the team they oversee, as well as teach, train, and lead the team to hitting their sales targets.

We’re looking for a hardworking, driven leader with passion to coach, develop and take initiative to lead an inside sales team.

As a sales leader, you will be managing and developing a team of Account Executives. You will be responsible for ongoing mentoring, motivating, and development of the team. In this role you will report on sales activity and forecast to senior management. As a young startup, we move fast, so you will need to be comfortable in an environment where challenges appear regularly and you will be expected to find solutions to these challenges. You will join a team of high-performing, passionate, data-driven sales leaders who are creative, driven, and highly collaborative. As we are a young startup, you will be expected to drive the development and improvement of our leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10 Full cycle SMB Account Executives
  • Develop a solid understanding of company products and services to confidently provide mentorship to your team
  • Enable, develop, and empower your team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build sales pipeline
  • Coach & train the team on best practices on successfully managing their pipeline, moving leads down funnel, and how to best close business
  • Foster strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Run weekly forecast, KPI, and metric meetings with sales leadership
  • Run daily meetings with your team to motivate, recognize, and achieve sales targets


About You:

As this is a unique role we are looking for a specific combination of skills, traits, and beliefs.

    • You have experience in high volume, transactional space - You are able to effectively teach & train outbound cold call skills, pipeline management, and closing
    • You have prior experience in quota-carrying sales position with demonstrated ability to succeed sales targets
  • You have proven the ability to build high performing sales team
  • You are highly results oriented. You focus on outcomes and do whatever’s needed to get there.
  • You are a skilled problem solver.
  • You are driven & Competitive and possess a strong desire to succeed
  • You are data-driven and can leverage KPIs to strategically coach the team
  • You have high emotional intelligence & Self-awareness
  • You have impeccable written and verbal communication skills. 
  • You are reliable and have excellent time-management 
  • You are a strong team player and self-starter. This is a hybrid/remote role; we are looking for folks who do not need to be babysat.
  • You have strong multi-tasking skills
  • You are highly coachable
  • Ideal: past experience in leading SMB, inside sales teams
  • Ideal: past experience with transactional sales
  • Ideal: past startup experience - you thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent change
  • Ideal: experience in SaaS sales 
  • Ideal: experience in SalesForce 
  • Ideal: previous experience in home improvement or financial lending
  • Ideal: located in Austin, TX
