Your Impact

The Sales Operations Analyst is an integral member of the Sales Operations Department and interacts with Sales leadership, Sales Enablement, Services, Finance, and Marketing to create scalable processes and tools to enable the company to grow and capture market share.  The Sales Operations Analyst reports to the Director of Sales Operations.  The primary responsibility of this position is communicating and implementing sales processes and best practices within Salesforce.com, Ops, Pendo, SpringCM, and other sales tools to enable the Sales team.

What You'll Do

  • Implement enabling technologies and processes in support of the Sales group.  This includes monitoring user adoption and compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data
  • Create, maintain and optimize scalable processes to ensure best practices around opportunity and pipeline management, forecasting, activity tracking and prospecting are followed.
  • Partner with sales leadership to constantly evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify potential problems, points of friction and other opportunities to improve, automate, and scale
  • Manage recurring annual, quarterly and monthly reporting, ad hoc requests, and strategic initiatives to provide visibility and insights into sales data.
  • Conduct analyses to gain insights into rep productivity and surface findings to sales management for rep coaching and performance management.
  • Analyze and communicate data trends across multiple segments including region, rep, product, industry, company profile, etc. to proactively understand and convey the meaning of trends, drivers, strengths, and weaknesses
  • Work cross-functionally with our partners in Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success to support business initiatives as needed
  • Manage and fulfill inbound requests from the sales organization including, but not limited to, contract activation, ad hoc reporting, and CRM data updates. 
  • Develop territory optimization reporting to deliver insights into selling opportunities and maximize penetration of sales into addressable markets.
  • Optimize use of sales tools, enforce best practices
  • Balance multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Participate in daily and weekly meetings and conference calls
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, and/or Business Strategy
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • The ideal candidate is passionate about the combination of data, technology, and sales and is skilled in building cross-functional strategies that help drive revenue. This person will thrive in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable collaborating on strategy as well as hands-on execution.
  • You have a high degree of technical knowledge of Salesforce, as well as strong project management and heavy data analysis skills.  Familiarity with SalesLoft or similar tools is a bonus.  
  • Advanced knowledge of sales lifecycle management and sales funnel implementation within Salesforce starting with lead generation through to close, client onboarding, and retention
  • Ability to understand business/stakeholder requirements and project manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Experience working in a Scrum or Agile framework is a plus. 
  • You have strong analytical and accuracy skills with a passion for data-driven optimization and helping businesses make better decisions by presenting digital analytics and optimization solutions, especially in a sales process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, executives, managers, and subject matter experts to present insights and processes in a meaningful way for the given audience
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Excel) and experience with visual reporting, data analysis and BI Tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or PowerBI
  • Confident self-starter with strong attention to detail who works comfortably independently and on a team
  • Willingness to work rare nights and weekends when business needs require
