Sales Operations Analyst
Location: Austin, TX; Scottsdale, AZ; Westlake Village
Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Analyst, and in support of the leadership of designated Sales designated Revenue sales vertical(s) to manage their day-to-day operations and support needs of the business. The Sales Operations Analyst will help build, develop and enhance systems, processes, and support models with the support of internal and external peer groups to build a successful sales and support structure. They will create, use, and leverage data to make data-driven decisions to optimize the operational and performance outcomes. The role will work with the Director of Sales Operations to define, prioritize, and project manages work requiring other internal support teams to deliver. The role will work closely with their internal customers to understand key business drivers, challenges, and KPIs to be able to respond to high-priority needs and proactive recommendations on solutions to influence business outcomes. The overall goal of the Sales Operations team is to provide the CRO sales and support channels with effective tools, processes, and information to effectively sell products and services. The role serves an integral role in providing administrative support in a variety of sales and marketing operation activities.
Primary Areas of Responsibility
- Campaign and Lead Management: Assist in the development and administrative support of our sales lifecycle including creating sales campaigns, routing of leads, analysis on promotions, processing service requests, and managing DocuSign requests.
- Pricing and Promotions: The backup person for all Sarbanes Oxley documentation including rate card and new product launch sign-off forms, process flows, and audits.
- System and Process Design: Assist in the quality assurance testing of deployment of new products, IT upgrades to systems, creation of new processes, and migration to a new CRM system.
- Escalation Management: Provide troubleshooting support related to system access, CRM and sales tools errors, order entry issues, commission challenges, and general sales operations issues.
- Resource Planning and Scheduling: Collaboration with sales and technology to roll out new systems, new products, new search and reporting tools to help the sales team generate revenue and improve the sales process
- Event Planning: Assist in the administration, development, and post-event tracking of sales operations activities in support of processes for the local and national trade events. As needed provide detailed post-campaign reporting sales to measure the overall success of trade shows, non-trade show events, franchise events, and webinars.
- Legal: As needed research and provide data and reporting on sales, process (SOPs), and programs
- Reports and Dashboards: Develop reports and dashboards to ensure business objectives are being met. Conduct various queries and filters on data sets in Excel and Salesforce to provide key data points and analysis.
- Data Sourcing: Procure, extract, and integrate data from external sources to create customer segmentation for call and email campaigns.
- Project Management: Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch. Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement.
- Process Monitoring and Improvement: Regularly monitor and analyze the customized sales operations tools to ensure that they functioning and configured properly. Identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work closely and collaborate with multiple departments such as customer care, marketing, sales, and enterprise systems to support strategic initiatives including document project requirements, managing project lists and data requests, mock-up the proposed solution, handoff requests for development, meeting with stakeholders, and training of sales teams.
- DSC On/Offboarding: Facilitating updates to DSC change of status including activating/deactivating sales system access, account moves, phone setup, email distribution list set up, cube moves, etc.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred.
- Previous experience in Sales Operations or Marketing
- Familiarity with real estate industry, online marketing/media company experience a plus
- High proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and organizational structures
- Ability to multitask and manage several tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
