Job Category

The Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role supporting the Sales organization by helping to improve sales infrastructure including sales tools, systems, structure, and analytics in order to help the Sales team scale. This role requires a candidate who is highly organized and analytical, with the ability to synthesize data and make sound business recommendations to the team. The candidate must be a strong leader, self-directed, well organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design internal processes and systems to drive sales, productivity and automation at scale, including administration of Salesforce and all sales/support technologies, sales training, and sales project management.
  • Uncover and review actionable, data-driven insights with sales management that drive informed decisions, improve the sales and customer experience processes, and fuel revenue growth and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Help to drive discipline and accuracy around sales forecasting by improving access to high quality data and tools.
  • Support sales analytics, reporting, and forecasting on a quarterly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis.
  • Assist with day-to-day activities supported by Sales Operations.
  • Evaluate new sales enablement technologies and lead implementation and integration of new solutions.
  • Work with engineering partners to scope, prioritize and implement automation and process improvements in Salesforce to improve productivity, revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Discover gaps and inefficiencies in our existing tools and internal operational processes and support the implementation of improvements.
  • Keep Sales Operations & Sales Department documentation up-to-date and relevant in company documentation.
  • Work directly with key sales leaders on critical strategic, organizational, and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success.
  • Assist in sales training and onboarding including processes, tools, methodologies, and best practices

Experience 

  • 2 + years of Salesforce administration experience for dynamic sales organization, with deep knowledge of Salesforce customization.
  • Proven track record of building and implementing complex business requirements within Salesforce and third party applications
  • Strong analytical and process definition skills
  • Solid experience in building an analytics models
  • Admin level proficiency in Salesforce.com (certification a plus, but not a requirement)
  • Deep sales process and methodology experience and expertise
  • Experience as an operations professional with a background in internal tooling/systems and process development for high-volume sales teams
  • Ability to analyze existing practices, recommend optimization and implement new processes that uplevel the sales and customer experience teams
  • Experience partnering with development teams to hit tight deadlines while owning relationships with a diverse set of contributors and stakeholders
  • Strong project management experience, with an ability to evaluate and re-prioritize rapidly and deliver results against aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to evaluate new 3rd-Party tools/systems and roll out uses across many stakeholders – Dialpad, Yesware, Five9, Bizible, Eloqua
  • A leader and collaborator across multiple sales and marketing units including the ability to communicate to the executive level
  • Ability to solve complex data inconsistencies or irregularities
