Sales Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly driven Sales Operations Specialist to join our rapidly growing Sales Operations team in Austin, TX. Performance Objectives

  • Highly motivated individual that is eager to learn and passionately curious
  • Strong business and financial acumen, as well as high intellectual horsepower
  • Great communication skills, as this position requires some interaction with sales makers
  • The ability to grasp and understand a variety of business concepts and the ability to apply those concepts in a practical application in the business
  • Technical acumen or ability to learn new systems and tools (e.g. Salesforce, Xactly, etc.) to uncover actionable insights to drive positive outcomes. Candidates will be trained on tools and systems new to them.
  • Some examples of day to day activities:
    • Initially come in, learn the business, and observe key activities owned by our team
    • Earn “quick wins” by taking over a defined sub-set of existing sales compensation processes
    • Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed for managers of various departments
    • Participate as-needed on cross-functional projects to drive business process improvements, implement tools or integrate acquired businesses
    • Be a “utility player” assisting with a variety of activities that span across the Sales Operations team
  • Coachability
  • Adaptability to working in a rapidly changing and evolving environment
  • Proficiency in the use of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and especially Excel

Competitive Candidate Profile:

  • BA/BS degree in Business or related field from a top tier 4-year university
  • 1-3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Compensation, or FP&A
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing business insights and data-driven recommendations
  • Intellectual curiosity, eagerness to learn, moves fast and has commitment to results
  • Capable of some of Excel’s more intermediate functions (e.g. SUMIFs, PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
  • Experience with SFDC and/or Xactly a plus
