Job Summary:

The Sales Trainer will report to the Manager of Learning and Development. The Sales Trainer will collaborate and work closely with sales leadership to ensure the organization is well-equipped with the content, training, knowledge of available resources necessary for the team's needs.

The trainer must have a solid understanding of business dynamics with the ability to synthesize requirements and corporate resources into comprehensive onboarding as well as ongoing training plans.

Responsibilities:

Developing the sales training program - Your job will be to design and nurture the training roadmap for the program, develop training materials, and deliver the training courses directly or through in-house subject matter experts.

Evolution of the training program - As technology changes, or as our workforce evolves you will need to keep an eye on continuing education needs within the department and adapt your training content to meet current demands.

Manage training logistics - You will work to manage and track the training progress of individuals in the program and manage, oftentimes directly, their progress through training.

Design and implement metrics to measure training programs and impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility.

Align training objectives, content, and assessments with business goals.

Onboard all new sales hires by leading sales orientation to Spredfast’s products and sales processes.

Partner with sales leadership team to set Learning & Development goals.

Support new product launches by delivering associated training and managing role play deliveries and panel assessment process.

Requirements:

3+ years’ experience conducting sales training for a SaaS company with a proven track record of developing sales talent.

5+ years’ experience working in fast-paced environments, preferably in SaaS start-up environments.

5+ years’ experience in blended learning environments.

Experience in training a specific sales methodology.

Background in sales and PMP a plus as is experience using a CRM and LMS.

Effective Teacher. You’re naturally good at assessing needs (both formally and informally). You are then able to customize a solution or presentation to make it a learning moment for your customer.

Technical Aptitude. You pick up on technical things quickly, and you are good at learning new products, and new technologies.

Inherent Time Management. You have a natural strength in managing your time, and it’s demonstrated in the work systems, and approach you take with your job.
