What if you could use your technology skills to develop a product that impacts the way communities’ hospitals, homes, sports stadiums, and schools across the world are built? Construction impacts the lives of nearly everyone in the world, and yet it’s also one of the world’s least digitized industries, not to mention one of the most dangerous. That’s why we’re looking for a talented Salesforce Administrator to join Procore’s journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry.

As a Salesforce Administrator at Procore, you’ll join the IT Business Systems team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of critical business systems primarily focused on SFDC with the opportunity to expand into other systems like Workday, NetSuite, and associated applications and integrations. You’ll play a key role in managing the business systems critical to Procore’s success.

This position will report to our Director, Salesforce Engineering and can be based in our Carpinteria, CA headquarters, Austin, TX office, or work remotely from any US location. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do: (6-8 bullets)

  • In close partnership with the IT Admin and Revenue teams, manage Salesforce user provisioning, security, access, and permissions (user profiles, role hierarchy, sharing rules, license administration, and security)
  • Partner with stakeholders to administer and improve Procore’s system setup and configurations
  • Maintain a holistic view of Salesforce administration processes to understand the impact of configuration, workflow, and permission changes
  • Integrate third-party applications and packages
  • Monitor and report on system health and usage, as well as monitoring business systems and processes to support IT general control and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Keep up to date on Salesforce industry best practices and trends to drive ongoing improvements to Procore’s SFDC platform
  • Partner with our Senior Release Manager to plan and execute continuous deployments to Production and maintain consistency between sandbox environments, from development through integration, staging, and production
  • Continually improve administration and release processes by analyzing and documenting processes and developing plans to improve efficiency

What we’re looking for: (6-8 bullets)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable experience,  with 2+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience supporting an enterprise-level SFDC instance
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com configuration and administration, including experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, or CPQ is preferred
  • Working knowledge of SOQL and Developer Workbench
  • Experience with Salesforce data management tools (e.g. Data Loader or DemandTools) with eagerness to earn Trailhead badges, Salesforce certifications, and master new technologies
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional time management and task execution skills
  • Experience with Copado, Gearset, the Force.com migration tool, or similar Salesforce deployment tools and strategies is a strong plus
  • Experience working with Git or other version control systems is a plus
