The Opportunity

Personify has an amazing opportunity for a professional to lead the Sales Operations function within a growing, dynamic software company. This position will report into the Chief Operating Officer and play a key role on the team.  The Sales Operations leader will develop and implement sales compensation plans and other tools and training for sales enablement. This includes driving successful execution of the go-to-market strategy across all business units, as well as driving strategic initiatives to transform and improve operations. 

This position will reside at Personify’s headquarters in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted advisor and sales operations lead to Personify’s sales leadership
• Create and evaluate business problems, design and implement actionable recommendations, and track success metrics
• Drive operational efficiency by leveraging and designing processes, forecasting, and reporting improvements to scale our growth business
• Manage the opportunity process from a sales qualified lead to close and beyond, including contracts and renewals
• Manage the forecasting process, providing accurate sales forecasts to management on a regular basis
• Develop and maintain management dashboards to drive laser focus on the right metrics and results
• Ensure alignment and effective, efficient coordination between sales and Finance to ensure accurate data across all systems and accurate billing and commission payment
• Own and continuously improve end-to-end sales process to increase productivity (e.g., tooling implementation, analytics, reporting, documentation); Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvements and recommend best-practice approaches
• Develop compensation models and provide statistical analysis to support models
• Manage sales operations team
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills / Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree
• 5+ years of sales strategy & operations experience
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end sales cycle and sales operations best practices
• Strategic, structured thinker. Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Aptitude for framing business decisions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and executing tactics and process improvements
• Ability and passion to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems effectively and consistently
• Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written; Ability to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams at the right cadence
• Results-driven self-starter with the ability to multi-task; Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment with a "can do" attitude and growth mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while dealing with ambiguity
• Team oriented focus
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Proficient in Excel, Salesforce
