What you will do:
As the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnership, you will be responsible for the commercial success of Dosh’'s relationship with partners. You will have ownership of the commercial relationship ensuring overall mutual success for both Dosh and the partner.
Dosh’s partnerships provide the backbone of our product competitiveness. It is critical that we have strong relationships with our key Powered By Dosh partners.
The right candidate will be able to leverage a competitive position through strategic management and negotiation with the partners they manage. The performance of this role will be measured on the ability to achieve defined commercial outcomes as well as the health of the partner relationships. Strategic Partnership managers are expected to build and maintain close relationships with their partners which requires occasional travel to meet in-person.
Working closely with the corporate development, product, engineering and data teams, the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships play a pivotal role in expanding Dosh’s relationship with Powered By Partners. It is therefore important that the candidate brings a high level of commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Own the entire relationship including understanding commercial agreement terms, understanding roles and responsibilities of both parties including key deliverables, holding partners accountable and ensuring a highly successful engagement.
- Maintain a close working relationship with all relevant contacts within the partner
- Establish themselves as a thought leader within our industry
- Ensure their partners are performing to key revenue and margin KPIs
- Oversee the technical integration process alongside the relevant internal technical teams
- Provide sales teams with detailed and relevant information on our key partnerships
- Work with corporate development to lead a successful process of renewing partner agreements as necessary
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of partner management experience within payments technology
- Deep understanding of the payments industry and issuing banks
- Track record of personally managing partners within the technology and payments industry
- A self-starter who is able to define your strategy and know how to execute (i.e. get stuff done)
- You thrive on building relationships with new & existing suppliers
- You independently tackle challenges and don't need anyone to keep you on track
- You're organized and have a strong attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple project/deals at the same time
- Partner Managers should be located in Austin
