Company Overview

ShipperHQ is a bootstrapped startup with an office in Austin, TX, and a market leader in the eCommerce Shipping space! Founded in 2009, we are a premier supplier of shipping software for eCommerce sites, selling to both SMB and Enterprise clients. We have a fantastic reputation, and are recognized for our high quality service. Our SaaS product, ShipperHQ, launched in 2015 and is growing quickly!

 

We have 38 staff spread across the UK, Australia, and the US. 26 members are based in Austin, TX. We are expanding our US office and are now looking for local staff to support ShipperHQ's growth. We are seeking an outgoing individual with a positive attitude that is willing to grow with the company.

 

The role is as an Account Executive to contribute in the following areas:

  • Conducting sales calls and demos with prospects, with a focus on qualifying them for our product and within SMB or Enterprise sales pipelines.

  • Manage a sales funnel, managing sales opportunities from start to finish and working to move them through the pipeline as quickly as possible

  • Think critically about existing and potential sales processes to find ways to improve and refine them

  • Provide feedback to other teams including marketing and product to improve our messaging and overall solution

 

The ideal candidate would have the following experience:

  • Between 4-6 Years in a SaaS sales role, focused on closing new logos and new business

  • Experience in and knowledge of eCommerce and the eCommerce software landscape

  • Experience in building out sales processes and funnel management

  • Highly motivated and willing to wear many hats, we’re a fast-paced startup and work as a team to support our growth, so you’ll often get tasks that aren’t directly related to your job function

  • Critical thinker, you don’t just look at what we’re doing today, but are constantly thinking about ways we can improve to supercharge our growth

  • Enjoy getting technical, our salespeople aren’t engineers, but we are problem solvers and sometimes those problems can be very complex. Don’t expect to just read from a script.

  • You have a growth mindset - We’re growing every day and new opportunities for leadership open up frequently. If you’re looking to prove yourself first by doing and then by teaching this is the place for you.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills are a must
