SMB Account Executive

SamCart is building a high performing, fast paced SMB Account Executive team. At SamCart, the SMB AE team will handle inbound leads, focusing on closing new business and converting prospects who've already started a trial. If you have been a particularly impactful "sales ninja" in a sales environment, you'll stand out from other candidates.
An ideal candidate for this role must be goal-oriented, coachable, and self-motivated. SamCart has an employee-first culture. Requirements
Your Most Important Responsibilities:
- Become an eCommerce expert and guide our customers on their way to exceeding their online sales goals.
- Rapidly build relationships with company-provided and self-generated leads
- Exceptional sales demonstration skills to present compelling rationale to purchase SamCart and highlight the unique competitive advantages that can help customers grow their business
- Identify and understand users' pain points and educate them on how SamCart can solve their problems.
- Comprehend the buyer's journey and map the sales process to engage with decision-makers and build a persuasive ROI to purchase SamCart.
- Sell through problem-solving to deliver business improvements to prospective buyers
- Manage multiple opportunities in the pipeline while also closing deals.
What Success Looks Like:
- Growing key revenue 100% YoY
- Adding 55+ new accounts each month
- Exceeding set revenue quotas
What You Bring:
- At least 2 years experience in a startup, ideally a part of a full cycle inside-sales team in a SaaS company
- A closer; 2+ years of exceeding quota performance in a sales role, ideally at a high-volume (SaaS company is a plus)
- Competitive & thrives in a fast-paced team environment
- A natural communicator, both written and verbal; Ability to effectively write and present proposals, negotiate value, address objections, and close the sale.
- Quick learner and tech-savvy; knowledgeable and the self-discipline to regularly utilize Salesforce and/or other business software to effectively plan and advance the sales process to secure a close
- A genuine passion for new emerging technology and helping businesses join the eCommerce-first world.
- Technical aptitude to develop a comprehensive understanding of our platform and competitor platforms
- The desire to go above and beyond and take on new projects and initiatives as needed
- A positive mindset, adaptive, and great to work with every day
- This position will be based in Austin, TX. This is not a remote position.
