Job Summary

ActiveProspect is seeking a Solution Architect to provide technical support for new sales opportunities as well as upsell and cross-sell opportunities for existing customers. You will be a foundational member of the Product Delivery team, working closely with our Sales and Client Success teams to build best-in-class solutions for our customers and prospects. Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to become product experts and design solutions to meet varying customer needs. Come join a growing team!



Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work closely with the sales, client success, and product teams to create long-term scalable processes to fuel market penetration and growth. 
  • Responsible for driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. 
  • Become a subject matter expert of products and services
  • Responsible for explaining the technical and functional aspects of the products. 
  • Understand customer needs and propose relevant solutions 
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction for any and all technical issues that may arise
  • Conduct discovery workshops with customers to gather solution requirements, evaluate product fit and influence product roadmap
  • Articulate the business value of our solutions through effective ROI conversations and comparison to alternative solutions
  • Identify short and long term issues and provide recommendations for a course of action
  • Partner with the sales team to identify the best solution for prospects and gain commitment.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth product demonstrations 


Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years experience in SaaS, enterprise, or other software related B2B Sales Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in Sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a team player who is comfortable working with executive stakeholders and technical teams to negotiate priorities and resolve issues.
  • Ability to read and understand modern web pages at the HTML/JavaScript/CSS level
  • Familiarity with common web protocols (HTTP, FTP)
  • Displays a positive attitude
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Innovative
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Shows initiative for learning by seeking out answers to daily technical challenges.
