  • SailPoint is looking for a Solution Engineer to help build and maintain environment configurations across multiple systems from IdentityNow, Active Directory, Databases, Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), ServiceNow, among others for the Technical Services team. The individual will be responsible for maintaining proper change management for these environments. You will work along side the Identity Solutions team to align configuration with the requirements of the solutions defined. These solutions will be used as the foundational material to train our global sales engineers, technical sales folks with our partners. You will report into the "Identity Solutions" team reporting to the SVP of Technology Services at SailPoint. This team has a global scope and you will partner with the technical readiness and technology infrastructure wings of this team to make the solutions and playbook real.
    Your Focus:
    • Think broadly across all products, features, and integration points to design business value solutions
    • Always think of scale, repeatability, measurability, and relevance. As SailPoint continues its growth as the global leader in IGA - the challenge is to find scalable and repeatable implementation patterns across the portfolio
    • Take accountability and ownership of the Technical Sales share.
    • Be the technical tip of the spear when new integrations and solutions emerge.
    • Develop and evangelize Best Practices across customers and organization
    • Have a keen focus on measuring, monitoring, and constantly adjusting the playbook and methodology based on feedback from the field on what is working and what isn't
    • Enabling both the Professional Services team and 3rd party deployment teams on Best Practice Solutions

    Who you are

    • You are curious and have the ability to quickly learn new technology, processes, and use cases
    • You are a jack of all trades in regard to enterprise software and SaaS platforms
    • You are comfortable leading technical conversations
    • You are excellent at knowing when to drop down into the weeds to establish credibility and quickly pull back into the business layer to align all stakeholders
    • You are focused on maintaining consistent results for your end users

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years industry experience (System Administration, Support, Cloud Administration, etc)
    • 1+ years identity governance and management systems (Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell, SailPoint)
    • Strong knowledge of enterprise software/architecture
    • Experience with native cloud tools and integrations between multiple SaaS platforms: Serverless Architecture
    • Containerization
    • Microservice Architecture
    • Orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
    • Experienced in system integration between SaaS, IaaS, and on-premises systems.
    • Experience with the following web technologies: XML
    • SPML/SOAP
    • Web and Application Servers
    • Experience with relational databases
    • Experience with directories (LDAP, Active Directory)
    • Experience installing and configuring on both Windows and Unix/Linux systems.
    • Experience with RBAC/ABAC ideas
    • Extremely proficient at working with customer and prospects while guiding them in best practices.
    • Experience working with global teams/customers
    • Expert at distilling complex technical ideas into solutions
    • Ability to complete projects based on a predefined due date
    • Experience with the programming/scripting languages a plus: Java
    • Python
    • Ruby
    • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques
    • MS/BS degrees in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent
    • Travel is anticipated to be less than 10%
