Be the best #BtheB and #changelives. We’re hiring for a Solution Consultant to join our fast-growing team. The primary goal is to augment the sales team by becoming a trusted advisor to prospects, customers, and partners. In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact and influence multiple areas of the business within the company. Additionally, you will regularly collaborate with the product management and deployment teams to support ongoing product improvement using feedback from prospects, customers, and partners. 

 

How You’ll Make a Difference at SourceDay

  • Sales Process and Support – sell customer success and value, not just software!
    • Engage early in the sales process to conduct business process discussions with prospects and customers to understand their current state, future state, and barriers to supply chain excellence. 
    • Provide multiple levels of product demonstrations, from standard webinar-based demos to customer-specific designed demonstrations. Demos must be value-based and aligned back to the customers’ requirements and pain points. 
    • Ensure notes from customer discussions and demonstrations are captured in detail and recorded in SFDC, helping with the sales to delivery process. 
    • Build relationships with customers and prospects as the trusted functional and technical advisor from SourceDay. 
    • Support other sales processes like RFP completion, creating demo recordings, etc.
  • Product and Technical Support – build bridges, not silos!
    • Be the conduit between the sales and product teams for technical or functional requirements that do not fit into standard products. Bring everyday needs and scalable ideas to the product team to help drive innovation and value to customers.
    • Interact regularly with the Product Management teams to have visibility and input into roadmaps and innovations. 
  • Customer Success – customers first!
    • Provide thorough customer documentation and relationship handoff to the post-sales deployment team, so they are well equipped for project kick-off.  
    • Continue to be a trusted partner with customers post-sale. Proactively work with the Customer Success and Supplier Success team by joining customer QBRs and innovation days when appropriate. 
  • Additional duties as needed – all hands on deck!
    • Sometimes you will be pulled into new, unknown areas that will take you out of your comfort zone. Being willing to learn and adapt is critical to this role and SourceDay. If you just want to demo, this job is not for you.

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Preferred: 3-5 years in pre-sales focused on supply chain, along with a background in manufacturing operations or supply chain directly. Having deep knowledge and expertise in the supply chain is a requirement.
  • Other considerations: 3-5+ years as a practitioner in supply chain/manufacturing, supplier chain process optimization or IT supply chain roles with the ability to lead project, present challenging ideas to leadership level roles and understand technologies role in supply chain
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology, supply chain, or business discipline required.
  • Pre-sales experience with a focus on Supply Chain Management and/or Procure-to-Pay.
  • ERP experience. SAP or Oracle is preferred
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a focus on functional and technical areas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
